American Honda has announced a new leadership team for its Auto Sales division, effective June 10, 2024. The changes include appointments for both the Honda and Acura National Sales organizations.
Lance Woelfer has been named vice president of Auto Sales. Woelfer brings over 25 years of experience working closely with Honda and Acura dealers. He has extensive knowledge of both brands and has played a significant role in implementing the company’s electrification strategy.
Woelfer previously served as assistant vice president of Honda National Sales for 18 months. He also held the position of region manager for the Western Region, overseeing sales and parts and service teams in 16 western states. His earlier roles include zone sales manager for the Northwest and Mid-Atlantic zones.
Daryl Bazemore is the new assistant vice president of Sales Strategy. Bazemore has 15 years of experience with American Honda, having previously overseen the Western Region. His roles have included leadership positions in Sales Training, Retail Network Development, and Market Representation within both the Honda and Acura field organizations.
Jessika Laudermilk has been appointed assistant vice president of Honda National Sales. Laudermilk formerly served as assistant vice president of the Marketing Division, where she managed marketing operations for both Honda and Acura brands. She has nearly 20 years of experience in various field and sales roles, including working closely with Honda dealers on the West Coast.
Mike Langel is now the assistant vice president of Acura National Sales. Langel has almost 16 years of experience at American Honda. He previously managed the Southeast Region and held various roles within both the Honda and Acura field organizations, including senior district manager for Honda and assistant zone manager for Business Improvement.
Honda offers a comprehensive range of clean, safe, fun, and connected vehicles through more than 1,000 independent U.S. dealers. The award-winning lineup includes models such as the Civic, Accord, HR-V, CR-V, Passport, Prologue, Pilot, Ridgeline pickup, and Odyssey minivan.
The electrified vehicle lineup features the Prologue, Honda’s first battery-electric SUV, along with hybrid versions of the Accord, CR-V, and Civic. In 2023, these hybrid models accounted for more than a quarter of Honda’s auto sales in the U.S.
Honda has been manufacturing automobiles in America for over 40 years and currently operates 18 major manufacturing facilities in North America. In 2023, over 99% of all Honda vehicles sold in the U.S. were made in North America, with about two-thirds produced in America using domestic and globally sourced parts.
Acura is known for its expressive styling, innovative engineering, and engaging dynamics under its Precision Crafted Performance DNA. The Acura lineup includes two sport sedans—the Integra and TLX—and three sport-utility vehicles—the RDX, MDX, and all-electric ZDX. A fourth SUV, the ADX, will join the lineup as a new gateway model in 2025.
High-performance Type S variants further showcase Acura’s Precision Crafted Performance virtues. All Acura vehicles sold in America are manufactured domestically using domestic and globally sourced parts.
