Microsoft also introduced a redesigned Bing Image Creator homepage with option to switch between Light and Dark mode.
In 2023, Microsoft unveiled the Bing Image Creator, an AI-powered text-to-image generator powered by DALL-E. Now, the tech giant is rolling out a bunch of new features and upgrades to the generative AI-powered tool.
In a blog post, Microsoft announced that Bin Image Creator is now powered by DALL-E 3 model PR16, which allows users to generate images twice as fast compared to the previous version. The tech giant said it is also rolling out a new minimalistic interface for Bing Image Creator’s desktop homepage that makes navigation easier and has introduced the option to switch between light and dark modes.
Microsoft also announced a new feature for the Edge browser’s address bar that lets users generate images by simply typing “create an image of” followed by the image description. This is useful as it eliminates the hassle of navigating to the Bing Image Creator homepage to generate images. The feature is available on both the desktop and mobile versions of the app.
The tech giant is also making it easy to generate images generated by the AI powered tool. Now, users will be able to share a generated image with their friends and family on WhatsApp, Facebook and other apps from their mobile devices.
Microsoft says all aforementioned features are currently rolling out across all platforms, but mobile users will have to wait a while before they can see the refreshed homepage.
